Are you interested in helping others, exploring the world of healthcare, or discovering a career you may have never considered? Join Inspire WI for Healthcare & Dental in Action: Explore Careers That Make a Difference, an interactive career exploration event at Fox Valley Technical College’s Chilton location!

Designed for high school students, this event offers an opportunity to explore a variety of healthcare and dental career pathways through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and conversations with professionals in the field.

Students will discover how healthcare professionals make a difference every day while exploring topics such as:

  • Assisted Living & Dementia Care: Learn how professionals support older adults, provide compassionate care, and improve quality of life.
  • Speech-Language Pathology & Brain Injury: Explore how specialists help individuals with communication challenges and support recovery following brain injuries.
  • Healthcare Career Readiness: Discover how to prepare for a future in healthcare, including building a resume, developing interview skills, and preparing for employment opportunities.
  • Nursing: Get an introduction to nursing careers and the skills, knowledge, and compassion needed to care for patients.
  • Dental Assisting: Explore the role dental assistants play in oral health, patient care, and supporting dental professionals.

Through interactive career stations, students will have the chance to ask questions, explore different professions, learn about education and training options, and discover how their interests and strengths could lead to a rewarding career.

Whether you're already considering a future in healthcare or simply curious about your options, this event will help you explore possibilities, connect classroom learning to real-world careers, and see how you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Policies

Payment Policy for Event Registrations

CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.
Group Registrations: If your district would like to register multiple participants and submit one payment for all registrations, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance.
Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.
Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

  • Registration fees exceed $1,000
  • A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
  • Your school district requires use of an internal payment process

Participant Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing events@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.

Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6

CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.

Registration Transfers

Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
