About this event

DPI CTE team will be presenting the “NTO Road Show” across WI in 26-27 SY! CTE educators and CTE Coordinators are invited to this free event, hosted by CESAs across the state.

Information will be shared about the modernized Career Cluster framework specifically to non-traditional occupations (NTO) by gender and Perkins performance indicator 4S1 – NTO. This is an opportunity for DPI and CTE educators to share resources, examples, proactive solutions, best practices, and answer questions about NTO and increase career pathway opportunities for students.

Objectives

  • DPI CTE team will present Non-Traditional Occupations(NTO) by cluster: individuals from one gender comprising less than 25 percent of the individuals employed in occupations by cluster.
  • Participants will learn NTO definitions, reflect on equity and access, analyze data, understand root cause, discuss best practices and receive resources to use with their CTE team.
  • Additional topics: Modernized career clusters, Perkins V performance indicator 4S1, multi-levels systems of support within CTE and institutional responsibilities and practices.
