About this event

Join us for the second annual Women in Construction (WIC) event at the Marian University Stayer Center on Tuesday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00am to 1:00pm — an empowering event designed to inspire young minds to explore careers in the ever-evolving construction industry!
The WIC program brings together students from across the state with industry leaders and experienced professionals for engaging conversations, panel discussions, and real-world insights into construction management, engineering, design, and skilled trades.
Here’s what will make this event unforgettable:
  • A keynote speaker will share their experience in the construction industry and how you can thrive throughout your career as a professional in your field.
  • A panel of amazing professionals, both women and men, will reveal what their experiences have been like in construction management, engineering, design, and more. Student speakers will be present as well to answer questions on how they are setting themselves up for success in their fields.
  • Attendees will get the chance to ask questions, engage with industry leaders, and discover the endless possibilities in this dynamic field.
  • Finish the day with a FREE boxed lunch and enjoy speaking to leaders from regional businesses during the vendor fair.
