Karavan Trailers: Manufacturing Excellence in Motion High School Career Tour Experience Step inside Karavan Trailers, a nationally recognized leader in trailer manufacturing and the supplier of choice to the #1 ranked boat manufacturer, #1 personal watercraft manufacturer, and #1 home improvement retailer in the U.S. Karavan has also been repeatedly ranked the #1 independent trailer manufacturer in boat trailer sales and awarded the #1 utility trailer market share increase multiple years in a row—proof that quality and innovation matter. During this tour, students will explore how Karavan combines advanced technology, skilled trades, and smart design to produce some of the best trailers on the market. What students will experience: A behind-the-scenes look at state-of-the-art production, including robotic welders, laser cutting systems, and powder coating operations An inside view of how more than 250,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities across Wisconsin, Missouri, and Mexico work together to serve customers across North America How modern logistics work, including Karavan’s new fleet of semi-trucks and advanced product tracking through serialized and pin-stamped identification Real-world examples of engineering and design thinking, such as features that reduce towing sway and noise, improve loading efficiency, and increase long-term durability How high standards—like scale-free finishing and innovative lighting systems—create safer, longer-lasting products Students will also learn about career pathways in manufacturing, including welding, robotics, engineering, quality control, logistics, maintenance, and operations. With more than 10,000 focused hours each week turning raw materials into finished products, Karavan Trailers showcases how teamwork, technology, and craftsmanship come together in a modern manufacturing environment. This tour connects classroom learning to real-world careers and shows students what’s possible in today’s high-tech manufacturing industry.

Policies
Payment Policy for Event Registrations
CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.
Group Registrations: If your district would like to register multiple participants and submit one payment for all registrations, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance.
Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.
Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:
- Registration fees exceed $1,000
- A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
- Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
Participant Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing events@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.
Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6
CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Registration Transfers
Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
