What to Expect: Overview of Pierce Manufacturing and YA opportunities, Tour of the ASY Plant (Assembly & Paint), Tour of the IPP Plant (Welding) YA Career Areas: Manufacturing • Engineering • IT • Training • Logistics Students will learn about and may apply for available Youth Apprenticeship positions.

Join us for an exclusive Youth Apprenticeship (YA) Showcase Tour at Pierce Manufacturing, a global leader in custom fire and emergency vehicles. This immersive experience will give students a behind-the-scenes look at real-world manufacturing operations and career pathways.
What to Expect
Introduction to Pierce Manufacturing
Learn about Pierce’s mission, culture, and impact in the emergency vehicle industry.
Youth Apprenticeship Opportunities
Explore the variety of YA opportunities available and what it’s like to start a career at Pierce while still in school.
Facility Tours
ASY Plant – Assembly & Paint
Starting Location (2600 American Drive, Appleton)
See how vehicles are assembled and finished from start to completion.
IPP Plant – Welding
Ending Location (3100 N. McCarthy Road, Appleton)
Experience advanced welding operations and precision manufacturing in action.
Youth Apprenticeship Career Areas

Policies
Payment Policy for Event Registrations
CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.
Group Registrations: If your district would like to register multiple participants and submit one payment for all registrations, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance.
Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.
Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:
- Registration fees exceed $1,000
- A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
- Your school district requires use of an internal payment process
Participant Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing events@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.
Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6
CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Registration Transfers
Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
