About this event
When students are not successful on the Oral Reading Fluency assessment (ORF), it often signals challenges with word recognition, decoding, or phrasing, which can hinder overall fluency. Specific high-leverage instructional routines and strategies can help improve accuracy and automaticity, enabling students to build fluency, boost confidence, and achieve greater reading success.

Eight, one-hour virtual sessions
- Gain hands-on, research-backed strategies for improving word recognition, prosody, and fluency.
- Learn to analyze student performance on ORF and word recognition assessments to target their teaching more effectively.
- Gain a clear understanding of how to address both word recognition and fluency issues.

- February 4, 19, and 26
- March 13 and 24

Virtual sessions time: 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.
Cost
- $250 per participant
- Please note: Purchase of the High-Leverage Instructional Routines Toolkit for K-5 is required prior to the first session to ensure access to key resources for effective strategy implementation.

Please note that an alternative payment method or purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.
Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:
- Registration fees exceed $1,000
- A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
- Your school district requires use of an internal payment process

Payment Policy for Event Registrations
CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.
Group Registrations: If your district would like to register multiple participants and submit one payment for all registrations, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance.
Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.

Participant Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing events@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.
Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6
CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.
Registration Transfers
Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
