Join us for an exciting and immersive Career Experience Rotations event designed to introduce students to a wide range of careers within the criminal justice field. Over the course of the morning, students will rotate through multiple hands-on and interactive sessions led by professionals from local law enforcement and public safety agencies.

Join us for an exciting and immersive Career Experience Rotations event designed to introduce students to a wide range of careers within the criminal justice field. Over the course of the morning, students will rotate through multiple hands-on and interactive sessions led by professionals from local law enforcement and public safety agencies.

Rotational Experience

Students will be divided into groups and participate in 30-minute rotations across the following career exploration stations:

    • Forensics & Dispatch: Learn the techniques used in evidence collection and crime scene investigation, and get a behind-the-scenes look at emergency dispatch operations.

    • Corrections & Jail Operations: Explore the daily responsibilities within jail settings and correctional facilities, and understand how safety and security are maintained.

    • K9 Demonstration: Meet a working police dog and observe how K9 units are trained to assist in law enforcement operations.

    • Patrol & Squad Tour: Step into the world of patrol officers and take a closer look at the tools, technology, and vehicles they use.

    • Detectives: Discover what it takes to be an investigator, from gathering leads to solving crimes.

Wrap-Up Session

After the rotations, students will regroup to explore future pathways and opportunities:

  • FVTC Criminal Justice Program – Learn how you can turn your passion into a profession.

  • Calumet County Cadet Program – Discover how high school students can get involved now.

  • Inspire WI Takeaways & Next Steps – Reflect on your experience and explore how to continue your career journey.

Policies

Payment Policy for Event Registrations

CESA 6 accepts credit card payments for all event registrations. If you are unable to complete your registration using a credit card, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance with alternative arrangements.
Group Registrations: If your district would like to register multiple participants and submit one payment for all registrations, please contact events@cesa6.org for assistance.
Please note if an alternative payment is needed, a purchase order must be received before your registration can be confirmed. All registrations must be finalized before the event date.
Alternative payment methods may be approved under the following circumstances:

  • Registration fees exceed $1,000
  • A specific funding source is being used (e.g., Title funds)
  • Your school district requires use of an internal payment process

Participant Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted in writing by emailing events@cesa6.org. Registrants who cancel at least 14 calendar days prior to the event start date are eligible for a full refund, minus any non-refundable service or material fees. Cancellations received 7 to 13 calendar days before the event will be eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the event. Participants who do not attend without prior notice ("no call, no show") will be charged the full event fee.

Event Changes or Cancellations by CESA 6

CESA 6 reserves the right to change or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, presenter availability, or other factors beyond our control. Participants will be notified promptly via email and offered either a full refund or a credit toward a future event.

Registration Transfers

Registrations may be transferred to another individual from the same organization at no additional cost. Please contact us at least 48 hours before the event start date to request a transfer.
